Property events in East London run all year, and two areas stand out right now. In Stratford, the Progressive Property Network (PPN) meets monthly at the Moxy Hotel, with the next evening on Tuesday 13 October 2026. In Walthamstow, our own evening property exhibition, UK Homes Network LIVE London, takes over Big Penny Social on Thursday 19 November 2026. Add the big shows at ExCeL in the Royal Docks and you can do a lot of property networking without crossing into the West End.
This page is the East London cut. For everything across the capital, month by month, see our guide to property networking events in London.
Property events in East London: what's on

East London property events, 2026/27
Filter by area, month or type. Some organisers only publish one date ahead, so regular meetups also show their usual pattern.
PPN Stratford
PPN Stratford is the most regular of the property events in Stratford we found. It's one of Progressive Property's local hubs, run by host Motiul Islam at the Moxy Hotel on Great Eastern Road. Evenings start at 6:30pm for 7pm, with networking, a host introduction, expert speakers and a Q&A with PPN's preferred partners. It suits investors at every stage, including beginners.
PPN sells single, annual and "Diamond" tickets, but prices aren't on its site, so check the Stratford hub page for the current date and cost.
PLMD Group's PINE, Stratford
PINE is run by PLMD Group, an East London developer and investor, at the Hyatt Regency London Stratford. It's an evening of keynotes, sponsor talks and networking, 6pm to 9pm, for investors, developers, landlords and beginners. It has run roughly quarterly, with the last one on 9 July 2026. No next date was published when we checked.
The big shows at ExCeL and Aldgate
East London also hosts the larger daytime shows. The Property Investor Show returns to ExCeL London from 16 to 18 April 2027, free to register. ExCeL also hosted the London Proptech Show in March 2026, though its 2027 date isn't confirmed. Global Property Expo UK lists June 2027 at a hotel by Tower Bridge. There's more on those in our guide to London property shows and expos.
One correction for anyone working from older lists: pin's Canary Wharf meeting page still exists but shows no upcoming events, and it's off pin's current meetings list. We'd treat it as stopped.
Why East London matters for property
London's pressure on housing is the backdrop to every one of these rooms. The Greater London Authority puts the city's population at 8.95 million on the 2023 mid-year estimate, and its Housing in London 2025 report records net housing supply of 36,468 homes in 2022-23, down 6% on the year before. That gap shapes what developers build, what landlords face and where investors look.
East London is where a lot of that change is visible, and Blackhorse Lane in Walthamstow, a few minutes from our venue, is a good example.
Blackhorse Lane: a regeneration area on the doorstep
Blackhorse Lane is one of Waltham Forest's key growth areas. The council's Blackhorse Lane Area Action Plan, adopted in January 2015, identified capacity for 2,500 new homes and 1,000 new jobs.
In December 2023 the council resolved to grant permission for the redevelopment of Uplands Business Park, a scheme from BlackRock Real Assets and NEAT Developments that brings 1,800 new homes alongside 33,000 sq m of stacked industrial units. It's a useful case study in how London is trying to keep industrial space while adding homes on the same land.
The Mayor of London designated the area a Creative Enterprise Zone in 2021, and it now counts around 180 creative businesses. A short walk away, Walthamstow Wetlands opened in 2017 as Europe's largest urban wetland nature reserve, a reminder that good regeneration is about place, not just units.
For anyone in East London property investment, development or the services around it, that's the kind of change worth seeing up close. It's one reason we chose Walthamstow for London.

Property networking in Walthamstow: Big Penny Social
Big Penny Social sits at 1 Priestley Way, just off Blackhorse Lane. It's a vast converted warehouse with a beer hall, a large events hall and one of the biggest beer gardens in East London, with a total capacity of 1,400. It started life as Truman's Walthamstow venue and became Big Penny Social in September 2022. It sits on the Blackhorse Beer Mile.
We picked it because a property exhibition at night needs height, floor space and atmosphere: enough room for a proper exhibitor line-up, and a setting where nobody wants to leave early. Our nights in Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds were all in venues with character, and London follows the same instinct. There's more on the venue and the area in our London property networking event news post.
Our event: UK Homes Network LIVE London. Thursday 19 November 2026, 6pm to 11pm, Big Penny Social, Walthamstow E17. An evening property exhibition with networking: a packed exhibitor floor, two drinks and food (served from 7:45pm), hosted introductions, and the full launch of Gatha live on stage. Over 18s, smart casual, and we're expecting 250+. Read the full details for the London night.

From Blackhorse Road it's about ten minutes' walk to Priestley Way. Check the TfL Journey Planner for live times.
London Overground to Blackhorse Road. Blackhorse Road is also a London Overground station, which can save you going through central London if you're coming from elsewhere in north or east London.

Driving. There's paid parking at the venue. Use the postcode E17 6AL. Check the venue's own site for current parking details before you set off.

From the City. The easiest way is usually to get onto the Victoria line, for example at King's Cross St Pancras or Highbury & Islington, and ride it to Blackhorse Road. Then it's about ten minutes on foot.
The best connection depends on where your office is, so put your start point into the TfL Journey Planner.
From Stratford. Stratford and Walthamstow are both in East London, but there are several ways across depending on the time of day. Put "Blackhorse Road" or "E17 6AL" into the TfL Journey Planner and it'll give you the quickest current option.
Whichever way you come, aim for Blackhorse Road station (Victoria line and London Overground). The venue is about ten minutes' walk from there.
Doors open at 6pm and the Gatha launch is on stage at 7:45pm, when food is served too. If you can only make part of the evening, aim to be there for that.
How to make the most of East London property events
Local events are where relationships get built over months, not one night. If you invest or work in East London, the same faces turn up at the monthly meetups, and the second and third conversations are the ones that lead to deals, referrals and joint ventures.
Pick one regular meetup and go three times in a row before judging it. Use the bigger nights, like a show or an evening exhibition, to meet suppliers and widen your network beyond your postcode. And follow up within 48 hours. Our guide on how to network at property events has a free intro builder and follow-up message tool.
If you're mainly investing, our guide to property investor networking events in London covers the investor-focused rooms across the city.
